Now everyone must flee. From the beginning only the young strong men came. Now there are entire families with their sick and disabled, grandparents- and pregnant women with babies. They have escaped from the bombs, climbed over the mountain and dead bodies, been fired at and risked their lives in small boats on the Mediterranean Sea. When the bombs fall everybody needs to escape, rich and poor, says Sladjena Academic of the Red Cross in Belgrade. Tired but relieved, they enter Europe with the knowledge that they now will survive.
